Jo has many years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist and has been a qualified RDI Consultant since 2008. The combination of these 2 areas of expertise allows her to guide families to develop the potential and strengths in their child that will help them function more successfully in the world. As well as being an autism specialist, Jo assists clients affected by PDA.
Services Offered Include:
- Helping you understand the challenges your child is experiencing.
- Family coaching and support to help your family develop verbal and nonverbal communication that enhances your connection, and develops your family member’s flexibility, self-regulation and dynamic thinking.
- Collaboration with you and your team of professionals.
- Training of support workers so they can use a relationship-based approach that guides rather than instructs, and so promote the client’s self- awareness and independence.
- Strong language, communication and behaviour support skills to help your family thrive through your day-to-day interactions.
