Autism Connections is a consortium of professionals dedicated to providing children who have Autism and their families with an exceptional service. All of the team at Autism Connections have received extensive training with the Connections Centre in Houston, USA and are qualified Relationship Development Intervention® Consultants or Consultants in Training. In addition to this, each member of the consortium also have their own areas of specialistion in Special Education, Psychology, Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy.

The team at Autism Connections are committed to providing a tailored intervention plan for each child and their family. Families are guided through the assessment phase and then closely consulted to provide a best practice treatment plan that not only incorporates the child, but also the family. The members of Autism Connections are available to work together to provide a multidisciplinary approach in order to identify and address all of the needs of the child and their family.

All members of Autism Connections who will provide Relationship Development Intervention® services have undertaken a lengthy training, review and certification process through The Connections Center based in Houston, Texas to ensure the correct implementation of the programme. Currently members have a combined experience of 17 years in the implementation of this programme.

Autism Connections is an approved service provider under the Department of FAHCSIA Helping Children with Autism – Early Intervention Service Provider Panel and some members are also registered with Medicare for funding.
