Elizabeth comes to Autism Connections from a Special Education background. Elizabeth has worked as a teacher, lecturer and also as a Tertiary Supervisor for teachers and special educators in training, specialising in ASD. Elizabeth is currently a tertiary Advisor for first to fourth year undergraduates in the Education degree.
Elizabeth has worked with children, teens and adults with ASD since 1998. Elizabeth’s interest in Autism led her to complete her thesis on social interaction for children with Autism, leading her to the RDI program and training, in Houston, Texas. Elizabeth began the RDI journey in 2006 and has recently been recertified in the RDI program.
Currently, Elizabeth is co-founder of Family Connections Sydney, which is based in Bangor. Elizabeth works at the centre and also does home visits in the South West area. Elizabeth is providing services to families in the metropolitan Sydney and also in the ACT.
